[Nfb-krafters-korner] another synthetic clay

Hi Carol,
I tried also and couldn't get the web site. I think the address is missing a few periods or dots. I'm sorry to have to ask you this but, could you please try to look at it again and retype it for us one more time with the periods included.  I tried variations but it just didn't work. The flexible part seems interesting and the fact it can be heated at such a low temp is practical. I took a course in that silver metal clay working when the product first came out, perhaps this is something new they've developed. That was called PMC (Precious Metal Clay). I got one of their first certification as a teacher, but then they wanted so much money for the kilns to bake it in and the clay itself it was impractical to spend the money for supplies to teach it. It certainly was portable and each person you taught either had to come to your studio or spend the money for their own kiln.
Thanks,
 Audrey Wellner, Secretary
 Krafters Korner division

Hello Joyce and all, You asked me to tell you about any crafts I see
during my travels and I saw one today you might find interesting.  I met a
lady who makes jewelry from a synthetic clay.  She says she heats it to
150 degrees and quickly forms it into a piece of jewelry before cooling it
in ice water.  The result is very light, flexible and durable.  She did
not tell me the name of the clay but maybe it is listed on her web site,
which is wwwddariellacreationsddcom.  Since you have been talking about
clay I thought you might like to hear about this.

I will let you know what else I find.  Smile

Carol
