Is this is 8 ply cotton yarn? If it is cotton yarn this will become much
softer to the touch as you make whatever you are going to make. It softens
up as you work it.
Use yourKNFB reader to read the label for suggested needle size and gauge.

Henry and Joyce; ... loomers and knitters;
I just bought some verigated, 8 ply yarn and am trying to deside weather
to use it for knitting or on the kk loom. I am kind of surprised at the
feal of it. Will it be soft enough for a baby. It kind of reminds me of
soft rope, kind of mushy. I am fearful the kind of kk looming we are doing, a
baby would get their fingers caught in the stitches. I think I might be
better off knitting it or doing it on the circular loom. The baby is due in
July.
What size 10.5 circular needle would I need and for 18-20 inches, how many
stitches would that be?
Sorry for so many questions, but I have no knitting books. I thought I
had some but it was just the catalog, I told you all about.
