[Nfb-krafters-korner] Pottery Making

Hi all,

I read with interest all your hints including using the tissue paper.

Yes, the fourth of July was quiet for us also. My husband worked all day. He
is retired but currently has a new project going. I spent the day with my
parents as my brother was away with his girl friend.

My dad raked hay. I was so hot here and we couldn't get him to take any
water with him.

I am a bit behind with things. I hope to complete my coil pot before class
tomorrow. I forgot to put drainage holes in the bottom of it. A friend of
mind suggested moisting the clay and cutting smlall holes with the tip of a
knife.

Linda, what do you think?

It is great that you are retired and can relax. I worked full time as a
rehab teacher and also did some other things. Now that I have some chronic
health issues, I feel I am lucky that I don't have to work at a real job. I
would enjoy working part time perhaps in the future.

Souns like your job Linda was interesting. I loved most of my jobs
especially working here in town and at the Hines VA hospital.

I volunteer quite a bit. I do a little knitting also. Mainly making squares
for church that one of the ladies chrochets together to form these blankets
for the babies or older kids.

I am going to glaze some of my stuff tomorrow in class.

Best,
Georgia
