Cruise ships such as Carnival and Royal Caribbean fold towels and washcloths
into various types of animals as a surprise for the kids every evening. On
our most recent cruise, they made a bat and hung it from a hanger in the
middle of our room. At some point during the cruise they have a
demonstration of how they fold them. Unfortunately, I have not gotten to
one of these sessions. In the back of my head, I think that I came across
some type of booklet on how to make these animals. I'll keep my eye out and
let you know if I find something.

When you say that they make such things like puppy dogs, etc out of wash
cloths, do they do this by just folding them? Do they need to cut and sew
the wash cloth?
I really would like to find a teacher to teach us how to fold wash cloths,
napkins or diapers into these creative items that I have come across in the
past.
We just had a baby shower for my daughter and she was given the I think it
was a cake, but it have diapers all rolled up and then decorated with baby
type things. I never did get to touch it to figure it out.

hi all,
i run a training center for blind persons and one of the classes offered is
a craft class made up of seniors. they fund their own program by selling
the items they make such as reefs, lap ghans, and angels and puppies made
out of wash cloths.
you could also make rag rugs, pot holders, bird houses, throws, and items
reflecting the holidays. HTH!
