[Nfb-krafters-korner] craft projects Origami?

Hi there,
I found the two pages on fabric origami I wrote about in an earlier message.
http://www.origami-resource-center.com/fabric-folding.html
Different types of fabric folding is described here, including one or two
ideas for facecloths, right at the end. Unfortunately, like with a lot of
craft instructions, I think that many of the resources mentioned on this
page might be reliant on pictures or diagrams to make the instructions
understandable, although I have not checked out the resources. So, if
someone finds good instructions, please let me know.
The second link is to the fabric origami workshop.
I think they sell kits, which might be helpful if someone really wants to
have a go at learning the craft.
http://www.fabricorigami.com
One thing I made a few months ago, and that is related to this subject, is
an origami purse. Basically, you fold a square in a certain way and sew a
few straight lines, and in no time you have quite a nice little bag or
purse. If anybody is interested in the instructions, let me know and I will
post privately or on list.
For this type of project one could use bandannas or fat quarters, which come
in many different colors and designs, and which are already cut into squares
with the edges finished with trim or serged. For the handles of fabric bags,
I often use ribbon or cord instead of thin strips of the fabric, since
cutting straight and turning the thin strips are not always easy.
