[Nfb-krafters-korner] bibs with eye cords

HI there. I've knitted bibs with eye cords before but it was a long 
time ago.  I've completed a baby feet cloth that I want to turn into 
a bib. Do I just put a few stitches on a separate needle and bind off 
a bunch then use the same amount of stitches on the other end to make 
an eye cord repeating the same with the held stitches or do I have to 
shape for the neck as well?
