I have 3 sentences my teacher made up to teach me the dot 5 contractions.
Mother father young work one day some time part
5m 5f 5y 5w 5o 5d 5s 5t 5p
Where aught there through cherecter
5wh 5ou 5the 5th 5ch
Ever know lord question right here under name
5e 5k 5l 5q 5r 5h 5u 5n

Hope you understand this. It is a lot easier to do in braille. Each letter or 2letters is proceeded by a dot 5 in braille to make the word in the previous line. It is the first letter or 2 letters in the word. One has 3.

Good luck with these.

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] braille help

Hello,

A while back the list was talking about braille contractions and someone gave us a list of them and I lost it. If anyone with braille knowledge can help and answer this I would appreciate the help. How many braille contractions are there and if not that many, what are they? Thanks for time and help.

Terry K
