Happy Mother's Day to each of you!
I was thinking of crafting and my Mother - at a very young age, probably 8, 
my Mother taught me to do embroidery. I still remember it was a blue outline 
on a white tea towel. The picture was a set of three glasses with a 
criss-cross design to resemble pressed glass. I was at my Grandmother's 
house, and we sat in the kitchen as she taught me the stitches. Thus, began 
a life-time interest in the fiber arts for me.

How about you?  How did your mother influence YOU in making a craft of some 
kind?
