I was talking to the leader of my knitting group, from my church.  she is going to help me block the blanket and I also mentioned that I knit tightly.  How can I prevent it from curling up or knitting to tightly when I cast off.  She had a neet Idea.  I have not tried this yet, but she said to knit onto a larger needle when you cast off.  I am going to cast it off at the knitting circle so she can see my work and I only have size 11 and see if I need larger.  Let you all know how it works.  It sounds logical.
