[Nfb-krafters-korner] Tip of the Week - New Series of Questions

We are taking a break from the Friday's Question of the Week to do a series
of questions on tips for blind crafters.  We are looking for responses that
focus on how a crafter who is blind would deal with the weekly posted
question, but we are not limiting responses to blindness specifically.  As
we all know, tips and tricks used by sighted crafters are just as helpful to
a crafter who is blind.  

 

Keep in mind that with any response you post to the NFT Krafters Korner
list, it is accessible by anyone through the list archives.  No tip is too
big or too small.  If you are using someone else's idea, please give them
credit.  Our goal is to compile these tips into an organized list to be put
up on our website.  

 

I am going to start us off with knitting and crocheting tips as that is what
I primarily know.  Please submit directly to me your ideas for future
questions related to the craft you love including knitting and crocheting.
I am in no way an expert and rely on the members of this group for crafting
support.  

 

I am going to try to group questions into categories, and will jump around
between categories each week.  The starting list of categories is:

 

.         Knitting

.         Crochet

.         Beading

.         Quilting

.         Sewing

.         Pottery

.         General

 

I anticipate that this list will change as we go.  Questions could be
categorized into more than one category.
