[Nfb-krafters-korner] Looms

Ramona,
I have only worked a little with the rectangular loom.  The one I have, you would need to make several panels and then crochet the panels together to make an afghan.  There are some cool stitches that I have done on this loom

It isn't any slower than working with the KKs, except that there are more 
pegs to knit off so it will take more time to knit a large project. The 
three afghan looms I have are in a figure 8 or S shape so they sit nicely on 
my lap when working with them. I would actually have to measure them to know 
exactly how much room they take up but I feel that it is not much. They are 
bigger than the KK looms but they are not huge.

Is it quick to work with those looms?  How much space does the afghan loom
take up?  Does it work somewhat like the kk looms?
