You have to keep the first one you make, it's a treasure!

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] KK loom hat

Hi all,

Yes, I am bragging just a bit, but mostly I am just so excited and felt the
need to share with everyone that I made a hat today, from the large round KK
loom, using the instructions from the file about the round loom which I
posted to the group. The hat came out great! I have a rather small adult
head and it fits me just fine. I had extra bulky yarn from my treat bag
project, enough to make the hat. Next I'd like to make some mittens, so plan
to hunt down a pattern and purchase some more yarn.

I could have tried to sell the hat at the herb craft and bake sale, but
decided to keep this for myself.

Oh yes, some one posted about making a hat that didn't fit and it occurred
to me that perhaps the fault was with the yarn used. some yarns are not very
stretchy, perhaps this was the case with the too small hat. My Wool-ease
thick and quick had some stretch to it.

Ohio
