Joyce,

I've been tempted to request the same thing, "subject related directly to
posted message) but because I am not a moderator, I thought I'd keep my
mouth shut or in this case, fingers silent.

I finished knitting my snowman this weekend. His scarf and hat are so
cute.
I did not like the black button eyes that I got to put on him/her. I
chose
to go and purchase small .25 inch (6.35 mm) black pom poms to use instead
for the eyes and buttons down the front of the snowman. I cut an triangle
out of orange felt to glue on as the nose, and I am using pipe cleaners
for
the mouth.

5-8 small buttons depending on how you choose to use them: eyes, mouth,
front of snowman.
The i-chord is for the scarf. You could use a chain, but it is not as
wide
as a scarf looks. I used a 5 peg loom and made my scarf and the width is
nice. The same color will be used for the hat on the snowman. Deep rich
colors look nice. I used evergreen because that is what I had on hand. I
think red, maroon, Navy colors would also look great.

The snowman is about 8 1/2 inches tall.

Cindy, will the yarn be worsted weight?
About how many buttons will we need?
What will the I cord be used for (in order to decide on color)
About how big will the snowman be?
