Joyce,

I went to the site and can't find their phone number, do you have it?

Thanks, Ohio

Ohio

Bolek should not charge you anything for shipping as these were missing in
your kit. Please do tell them that so they don't charge for shipping.
Carol called them and they said they would send out the missing beads and
pins. I had told her to be sure they didn't charge shipping as this $9 is
a
lot for plastic beads that don't weigh much.

Hi Theresa,,

Yes, thanks for the class tonight and your patience with us newbees from
Ohio! Joyce, have no fear, my husband and I are by no means discouraged,
we
just had to redo the second row because we made the common mistake of not
having the pins all facing the same way. but we soon fixed that and are
ready to continue on with row three when the audio file arrives.

Also, as a reminder to Theresa, I will need eleven small stars if you
happen
to have them. I will order them from Bolek's if you don't, though I hope
not, because I shudder to think of their charge for the shipping. But let
me
know so I can be prepared for when E pins are needed.

I am so thankful that Joyce suggested that I substitute an A pin for an E
pin, so that I was able to proceed with the class. I was in a minor panic
for a bit there.

My husband still thinks it is a strange looking tree, but we are certain we
have rows one and two correctly wired. We are eager to see the finished
project.

I know I took on an intermediate safety pin beading class as a beginner, so
I did expect to have some challenges, but all is going well basically. The
pins were a breeze, except for the fact that I apparently lost one and
didn't have enough beads. I had my husband wire the tree this time, but I
did look at it after he made the first rows and between that and listening
to the class, believe I understand the concept, and so I will be able to do
the wiring myself with an easier project.

Joyce, I like your idea of a green, rather than crystal tree . my thought
to
add is to have that without the lights.

Thanks again to all who were in the class for your patience, it is
appreciated.

If I have questions, I will certainly let one of you ladies know.

Theresa,

Many thanks for the class tonight on the Xmas tree. The tree is a tough
one to do. The new folks that have not done any of the safety pin
beading
you need to know the tree is a tough one as you are building it from top
down. The easier ones build from bottom up.

Don't give up if you have any questions we will be right here for you.

the second row use the written directions as I think things got confusing
with the discussion in the recording due to keep going back and repeating

directions.

Theresa will send out the written directions to all of you in the class.
Directions are sent out part by part as far as the class covers in each
night. Have no fear you will receive a set of directions complete when
the

class ends so you can make more of them.

I do wonder how this would look done with green beads instead of the
crystal. Bolek sells each size beads in all the same color in a bag or 1
bag of
mixed colors. So you could purchase a bag of the assorted 12 mm fasceted
beads and that would give you the array of colored beads.

I think next time I order I will have to get the stuff to make this tree
in
green with the colored beads.
