Denise,
This is really one of the harder projects as I have said. For the people
that had taken the beginners class first it is much easier to learn. The
candle holder had 1 row of pins that you learned different bead types and
sizes to put on the pins and then you only had the bottom row to wire and the
top of the pins to wire. The rectangle basket project introduced you to
turning corners and there was 2 or 3 rows of pins to wire. Then we had
several classes that you worked in rounds, but you had to add more pins to
make it wider as you built from the bottom up.
I truly enjoy doing the safety pin beading and there is a lot of different
projects available to make.

Thanks again. I think I have a good idea about what we're doing. I guess
safety pin beading is tougher than I tought it would be but, I'm sure it
makes beautiful things. I'll hang in there. I'm very glad we have a
patient instructor and two pros to help out, too.
Regards,
Denise

Theresa,
Many thanks for the class tonight on the Xmas tree. The tree is a tough
one to do. The new folks that have not done any of the safety pin beading
you need to know the tree is a tough one as you are building it from top
down. The easier ones build from bottom up.
Don't give up if you have any questions we will be right here for you.
the second row use the written directions as I think things got confusing
with the discussion in the recording due to keep going back and repeating
directions.
Theresa will send out the written directions to all of you in the class.
Directions are sent out part by part as far as the class covers in each
night. Have no fear you will receive a set of directions complete when
the
class ends so you can make more of them.
I do wonder how this would look done with green beads instead of the
crystal. Bolek sells each size beads in all the same color in a bag or 1
bag of
mixed colors. So you could purchase a bag of the assorted 12 mm fasceted
beads and that would give you the array of colored beads.
I think next time I order I will have to get the stuff to make this tree in
green with the colored beads.
