I think I know what your problem is!
Your connection, or twist of your wire on row 2 is not in the same place as it is on row three.  From what you are saying, the two connections are about 7 pins from each other.  That is why we are using the marker pin, so we will know where to start the next row, so the ornament patern will fall in to place.  If you have enough pins on each row and they altrinate, like I described in my other e-mail, I think you have it right.  There are extra C pins for future rows.

lol...that was actually Ken. I don't have enough hearing for the regular phone.
Terry is correct. You start at that marked C pin and then you will end with a bead right next to it. It is the same amount of pins from the top no matter where you start. The only reason we start there is to keep that pattern going that Terry so nicely described.
