[Nfb-krafters-korner] clay

Linda;
Do you have a friend who has a photo frame? This might be another way to view your pictures, because you can get as close as you want to it. You can store your pictures on a memory card or thumb drive and view them with a large photo frame. I sometimes can even see pictures on a digital camera, because of the clerity and that I can get so much closer than I can to a computer. I was able to see and identify that a picture was a house on my sisters camera. That is what got me interested in getting a camera. I then could see how a partial could have interest in taking pictures.

I have both JAWS and ZoomText. Because I have some peripheral vision I can use ZT most of the time unless it is something too long for me to cope with.
I can also see photos using the ZT - which is amazing to me. I know I don't see them like other people do, but I do see them. I have no idea how I can do this though. I have no central vision, and the peripheral vision is murky.

This is why I did not pursue Braille. I completed the first two courses of it, then decided I could go so fast with my technologies that I did not want to go further with it.
