Yes, thanks Joyce. You have described it perfectly. The two sliders that set 
the width and length of the stitches on this machine shows a red and a green 
light, but it also makes a high beep sound to indicate each setting along 
the slider bar. You can also hear or feel the needle moving from left to 
right, which also helps, of course. The red light or audible signal will let 
you know when you move the slider out of range for a certain stitch or if, 
like with button holes, you have no signal, which means the machine has been 
programmed so you cannot move the slider for that specific type of stitch.
