"Walking by inner vision" is a very apt description of it's owner! I would
really be interested in having my "inner vision" unlocked!

My solo exhibition is at Merrick Art Gallery, a regional museum in western
PA, New Brighton, PA.
Show runs Sept 9 till October 2, 2011
Opening Reception to meet the artist was Friday night, Sept 9th. that is the

only official time I am there. After that, I have gone down with groups of
people who wanted me to come with them to view the show - they were not at
the opening reception.

Show consists of pottery and bead weaving all done since my sight loss in
October 2007. The show is LARGE, on pedestals and special display tables,
and on walls the entire length and width of the gallery.
At the opening, sales were very brisk - requiring five people to be working
non-stop taking cash, checks, and credit cards, wrapping, and bagging
purchases. There were 4 people on board to handle the food and
refrreshments - lots of good wine, punch, and mountains of other delicious
things to eat. And, two girls handing greeting, giving out programs for
show, directing people to the gallery, and being sure they signed my guest
book AFTER viewing the show. It takes a big team to pull off a good art
show! I just published a blog article on how to plan for a successful
opening for an art show. If anyone is interested it is at:
www.walkingbyinnervision.blogspot.com

With the opening behind me, today, I am working on my entries for the 2nd
National Arts Unbounded show - just sent that off via email - 3 art works,
vita, and bio....and, will be working with a gallery in Pittsburgh today to
develop a couple of clay workshops for students there to be offered with the

101st annual art exhibition of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh show
that opens on Nov. 11th.

You can tell, I let no grass gather beneath my feet - but just keep projects

on going. Before one is finished I have already begun work on several more.
Art, for me is no hobby at all, but a complete life.
