[Nfb-krafters-korner] off topic - just wanted to share

Hello there! I'm one of the "lurkers" - grin! But, I have gotten to know some of you in one-on-one communication too - grin! 

I know this is a bit off topic, but hey, you know what they say - easier to get forgiven than to get permission! he he he he.....just kidding! 

Starting tomorrow a documentary film I was a part of is beginning to be aired on PBS stations across the country. It's starting in Cleveland at 3:00 pm tomorrow afternoon. The times and dates are different for different cities. 

The film follows the HPS Network for three years through the process of a phase III clinical trial to try to find a treatment for our pulmonary fibrosis, or the scarring of our lungs. HPS is a type of albinism. But, besides low vision/blindness (there is quite a visual bell curve), it also causes a bleeding disorder and digestive disease, and of course, the lung problem. 

You can find the broadcast dates and times at this Website (someone let me know if you have trouble with the site). www.rarefilm.org. Sadly, the footage of me painting in the hospital didn't make it to the final cut! oh well - grin! 

For the next few weeks I'm probably going to chew all my fingernails off!
