The wonderful shop is no longer there. It was on Fortaleza (sp)  Street, 
right down from Douglas' Bar and Grill and before you get to Milano Hotel. 
The senior coulple who had the store for many years have retired. You will 
find OSJ greatly changed over the past couple of years - many of the 
wonderful PR owned shops are now GONe - so many crappy stores there now I 
could not believe it - all resale imported junk. Only a few of my wonderful 
favorites are still there - very sad.

9/11 heared in NYC, greatly hurt PR and they are still feeling it, they told 
me.  We were so sad to learn this and it is very apparent as you walk 
through the streets there -

WE go there every spring - already have our flight tickets, hotel and car 
secured for March 2013 when we go again. Hope you have fun.

I might not post often, but I'm still here lurking. Grin!
I'm about to leave for an HPS outreach trip to Puerto Rico. Unlike my usual 
trips there, I have a little sight seeing planned! Very excited. Someone 
told me last year about a shop in San Juan where they'd bought some pretty 
and unusual beads in the past. I had tucked that info away, and apparently 
did such a good job, that now I can't find it. If it rings a bell for 
anyone, I'd love the info.
