All they did was took a paper towel roll of toilet paper roll and cut different shaped eyes out.  Say round circles, or oval ones.  Some did just the eyes, but I think some cut out a mouth opening too.  They spray painted the rolls black.  That is it!  You place the rolls in your garden or bushes and inside each tube you put a glowing  light up stick.  Fun for Halloween!  OR......You could use this same idea for Christmas or Valentine's Day.  Cut out the shape of a Christmas Tree or even several if using a longer tube.  Put a green glow stick in the tube.  Use red and make hearts, use gold and make bells....etc.
