[Nfb-krafters-korner] Low Vision Craft Light

Yes, it is wonderful. when I still had sight in one eye, I could put on a
pair of magnifying glasses, and then look through that magnifyer down onto
my bead work and I could do my intricate encrusted beadwork that way. But,
alas, after the second eye went SOUTH, nothing can work for me except
electronics - so I gave it to my daughter who uses it in her studio now. I
also have a smaller portable Ott lamp that is nice - and I used to take that
one to my meetings of the Obsessive Compulsive Bead Workers of
Pennsylvania - I used to meet with that group once a month and we worked on
our bead working together and learned new things together. Since sight loss,
I have never been able to return to that group - have to work alone using my
CCTV now...way too much work and effort to take a CCTV - and of course, now
I would have no transportation either and it is an hour's drive from my
home - soooooo, solitary beadworking is now my NORMAL. But, no problem, I
love being alone. I did take my CCTV to our Girlz Art Camp Adventure last
summer when we went for a week long stay in southern Ohio and we all worked
on our STUFF day and night - four of us...wow, what fun that was!
