New report to those who have helped me out getting on my way looming...

I want to thank all of you who have guided me thru this and happy to report
I have a smile on my face and things are going much better.

Henry guided me today about doing the cuff and I tried it this afternoon.
I was doing it all wrong and now I am very happy with how it came out. It
is snug without any indents or holes. It is not bunched up inside and smoo
thly goes from attaching the cuff continuing up the mitten.

Cathy, I did learn how to take stitches[undo my stitches] when I felt that
I was not happy with how it felt. [I learned how to twist the yarn to
duplicate the other stitches in the row].

I am half way up the hand at this point and feel that my stitches are even
in tension, no ladder stuff and pleased with my progress.

I am using 22 pegs for this mitten hand and need to know how or if I should
reduce the top number of stitches for the top of the mitten???

I do not know how to reduce stitches on the loom. I don't know if I
should reduce or just gather at the top of the fingers.

So I am looking for help and advise. If I should reduce the # of stitches
would reducing in half [11 stitches left] be good enough for top of the
fingers? Will it make gappy holes with this thick yarn when reducing? Would
it be too many stitches just to gather up in a draw string method?

I believe the thumb was 12 or 10 pegs and that worked out OK just to draw
string them up for the tip of the thumb.

Hey, everyone my mitten is almost as good as my Granddaughter's mitten. I
really had to work hard to get it coming out and I thank all of you for
your help.

You might make a loomer out of me yet. I haven't opened up my Kiss loom
yet as I am determined to use this round loom and do it well.
