[Nfb-krafters-korner] Do-it-yourself latch hook

I am thinking that, apart from converting photos of loved-ones, animals,
landscapes, etc. less complex pictures like line drawing type images that
would appeal to children might also work well?
I was thinking, for example, of something like red hearts on a lighter
background, or a blue and red car, or different coloured butterflies on a
blue background, etc.
I have come across lots of sites that offer fairly simple drawings, often as
colouring pages that a child might like to colour in themselves before
converting the pattern. Also, a picture with words or a name or similar
might work as well.
Just my random thoughts on this, and we have not really talked about other
types of crafts this could be applied to?
