Thanks, Tanya,

I was having phone difficulties last night and must have missed the
description of the true knit stitch. I appreciate having the correct info
and you letting every one know.<smile> it is good to have the "truth" about
the "true" knit stitch.
Now get off your computer and rest!

Cathy

Thanks for this, Cathy, but I do have to make a correction.

The flat knit stitch is not the true knit stitch.

True knit stitch instructions:

Lay working yarn across top of peg with existing loop toward the bottom.
Insert knitting tool into groove below the existing loop and go under it.
Grasp the working yarn with your tool and turn so that it grabs the working
yarn. Now pull it down under the loop on the peg and hold on to it. Now
remove first loop from peg and replace with new loop, pulling on working
yarn to tighten stitch if needed.

Other than that, Cathy, you did a fantastic job with your notes, as usual!

And I forgot that I was supposed to do some bind off techniques, too. I was
just feeling too bad.

Tanya
