We jumped from charity hat sizes to how to loosen stitches. Please change

Cindy;
What will help me to loosen my loom stitches. On the bag I am making. I
am noticing my stitches are very tight.
Would working a hat on a larger loom help?

Neva,
I think blue would be correct for a normal size baby hat. What I tend to
do is take a loom and make sure it goes over the persons head because
remember it will become smaller around when you take it off the loom.

I read through the crafting guidelines but am not sure which loom would be
the right size for the hats they need. Do you think the smallest, blue
loom or the next size larger would be best. They are not in need of preemie
hats or booties right now and are asking for the 6 to 8 lb size.

The KK Charity Group is a special group of the NFB Krafters Division that
is making items for charity. This year, we are holding all communications
through Facebook. At the present time, we have been unable to move the group
over to the official division page, so the group will remain in its
current location until the end of the division year (July 2012).
This year's chosen charity is The Preemie Project, you can find detailed
information about items needed, sizes, materials, and patterns at
www.thepreemieproject.org. Please join us on Facebook at:

I look forward to seeing the charitable side of the division show the
community that blind can give back.
Cindy Sheets, Chair
KK Charity Group
