Terry,

Go to the file menu and select "save as,"  this will open a dialog box which
will allow you to choose the format in which you would like to save the file
and also allow you to decide where you'd like to place the file.  You might
want to consider saving it in either .txt or .rtf format in case your
version of word doesn't work for some people you choose to share the file
with.
