I agree with Joyce, the medium brown would have to change to black and the
lightest brown might have to change to something closer to a yellow lab for
my purposes. The pattern would be a challenge, but what a neat end product.
Thanks to your sister for the description. My daughter often does that type
of thing for me, but she is out of town and away from her computer this
week.

I asked my sister to describe the lab puppies in more detail and this is
what she replied.

"Yes they are brown . Each puppy is a different brown one is kind of gold
brown one a medium brown one a chocolate lab. they are all sitting on a red
rusty color rug. one pup has it's tongue hanging out . each dog has maybe
three to four colors of brown and the rug maybe three colors. behind them is
very dark brown fading into whites.

because the colors fade from one to another in each dog and background it is
hard to say exactly how many colors definitely more then eight."

They are very cute and realistic looking. you would be changing colors
constantly.

Hi all,

I heard from my sister and her husband who  looked at the kits I posted 
about
last night.

They said that  they did not like the American flag kit because it had brown
in it, making  it quite dark. But there was another patriotic one that was
quite bright  with only four colors that is only 12 inches square. less than
$8 as  well.

The design is of seven stripes and a big star. Red, white and two  different
shades of blue.

Sounds like a good starter project.
