[Nfb-krafters-korner] latch hook,

Lindy and all latch hookers,

Lindy, Since you are interested in the rug-hooking, perhaps you could look
at the emails with the descriptions of the kits and see which kits you might
like to make. The class format has not yet been decided. Because of the time
difference, perhaps we could have this as the second email class? Joyce
would have to decide whether this is a good idea. It could be a good idea
because then everyone would have a pattern sent to them and could go at
their own pace and post questions for help or discussion. I am more than
happy to teach the class this way. all of us who have expressed interest
already know how to latch hook, so it is merely a question of sending the
pattern in an accessible format really.

Speaking of latch-hooking, I have a few people who have sent me their
choices for kits, and at the moment we have a tie going between" flower pup"
and "puppy love." There is still time to change your mind or add your
choices. The class looks rather small right now. hope to see more interest
Cathy

I was wondering if such latch hook pattern books might be available
somewhere?
One of our teachers compiled such a book for us in Afrikaans and it was
produced in braille for those of us who were taught did latch hooking at
school.
However, this was more than 20 years ago and I think only that one pattern
book for latch hooking was ever produced here in South Africa.
We worked with fairly large canvas squares and bulky yarn and the patterns
would have a name and then the row number with the colours as Michael
described.
Just wondering.
Lindy
