[Nfb-krafters-korner] Yarn question

I bought 4 cones of 8 ply cotton from Peaches and Cream, on line.

Wow, that sounds cool. I have never found cotton in bulky. If you do, I want to hear about it. I love working cotton yarn. I just cannot get into acrylics. I am working my first bulky yarn in 100% wool right now and it's cool. I think I still like cotton best. I want to learn to make place mats.

Neva, I have used the two strands as one quite often, but was hoping to find the bulky so I'd only have to use one strand, therefore less costly, lol (hubby has been eyeballing my yarn stash and saying "you need more?" lol) I found a you tube video this morning on makeing a placemat and it looked like he was using 4 strands of cotton, he wa using the long loom and doing the figure 8 double knit wrap.
