Yes, I believe it, and wouldn't you know this is the summer  we 
decided to visit Alaska.  Smile.  We are currently in Valdez 
Alaska.  The high today is 55 degrees but the sun is finally 
shining.  It has rained almost every day since we arrived.  When 
we went for a walk this afternoon, it felt like a Beautiful March 
day at home in Michigan.  The air was fresh and cool on my face 
and after climbing a hill I had to take off my jacket.  There is 
a 20 foot pile of snow here,  left from plowing a parking lot 
this winter.  And no, it is not a glacier.

In spite of the cold and a medical issue my husband is having, It 
has been a great trip.

Ah.  '-) We just got left OUT of it is all.  Some are saying this

 My studio is 105 degrees - had to move my beadworking into the 
dining room in my house where there is AC.  It is so hot our 
fields are all dried up, and trees are dying.  VERY hot here in 
western PA.

 Yeah I've heard there are heat waves in some places.  Hang in 
there guys--if I could I'd send you some of our coolness.  It was 
57 degrees here at 11:20.
