Hi,
Yesterday was Alexa's sixteenth birthday. On the phone, I told her she got the smallest gift I have ever given for a birthday. Her Mom asked what I bought her and I said I made her something. I am sure they were a bit worried. Sixteen is a big year for Grand Kids here. we're talking stand up mirrors with jewerly boxes and such. 

When she got her card she found the back pockets first and was actually thrilled with the ear rings and gift card for dinner. Then she opened it and found some of Grandma"s lavendar sticking out of the top slot. that made her smile a bit. Then she found the notes in the corner pockets and everyone got a kick out of them. Especially the one about finding the perfect guy. Well, her Mom got a bit nervous there. lol Then all of a sudden she found that secret pocket. That greenery gave her a big smile. It didn't take long for her to ask to go to the mall. But before that, she asked to learn to make the pocket book. So it was a success. Thanks for teaching us to make the folder and for all the ideas for stuffing it. Especially the "GUY" idea.
