The laundry soap with the spickets come with a cap over the spicket that is
meant for measuring. Have someone place tape on the outside at the desired
line or your own measurement. Then, when you are filling the cup, place your
thumb on the outside where the tape is and your index finger on the inside
to match. If you are not able to match this up to your satisfaction, try
placing the tape on the inside of the cap. You need to place the tape when
buy the soap and before you use the cap, otherwise, it has trouble sticking.
Laundry soap doesn't have to be measured accurately, so this is a good item
to practice with, and once you have mastered it, you will be able to move on
to measuring things more precisely for recipes.
