I did it. I finished the shawl Carol taught That turned out to be an easy pattern once I tore it out seven or more times. lol

I also started sewing my first quilt last night. It is an easy pattern. My friend Joyce is helping me with it. We started by sewing long strips together and then cut them in five inch squares. That gave us two squares together. Now I am sewing them together to make ten squares in a row. I have a blue print and a bright yellow print. I don't think it will get done for the quilt challenge on the Blind quilters group But maybe the next one they have.

After a busy crafting day like that I had to relax. So I tried out the I cord on the kk loom. It was so much fun and so relaxing I found I made sixty inches of I cord. Now I spent the night trying to figure out what one could do with so much I cord. This morning, I tied knots in the cord to make one decade of the rosary. So that was ten Hail Mary beads and a Lord's Prayer bead. Now for a cross.

My Mom was looking for small crosses she thought she had when my DAughter suggested I knit the cross too. So more I cord. lol I wove the I cord in the manner I do Palm Crosses on Palm Sunday and attached it. Well, it sure feels good going through ones fingers.

During this Lenten season, I have been making Pocket Prayer crosses. It is a knitted swatch with a cross design in it. I made about a dozen and gave them to people who stopped by. So this has been a busy few weeks with the yarn.
