[Nfb-krafters-korner] Walking sticks (and Diamond Willow)

Terrence,

Yes, she uses some dogwood, but she also carves tulip poplar, sasafrass, and 
sweet gum from trees here on the farm.

She uses purchased wood for her other projects some of which she gets from 
Ben Franklin's.  Pattie has also taken the wooden eggs they have and carved 
several different figurines that have taken prizes at our local state fair. 
She also buys wood, tools, bone and hardware from a place called Tree Line. 
They have a print catalog and send e-mail specials.
