That makes perfect sense.  Regretting, is really looking back, and you've got to look forward.  Regrets don't change anything, anyway.  They just cause pain and anguish.  If we didn't go where we went, we wouldn't be where we are.  It took me a while to figure that out.  The revelation came once I figured out I didn't know one-tenth of what I thought I knew.  *lol*  You know, you start out at sixteen knowing everything, and hopefully, before you're sixty, you discover you really don't know much.  Thank God I made that discovery as soon as I did so I could grow and keep on growing.  Wow, I don't know where all that came from.  *laughing*  I didn't have alcohol or caffeine.  I didn't know Gatorade caused rambles.  Lol, I actually started the message to ask: Where are you from, originally?  For some reason, I thought you were from Alaska.  Did you just go there and fall in love with it?  It's one of those places that I can't imagine anyone would feel indifferent about it.  I figure you have to love it or hate it.  *grin*

Yeah, that's kind of how I feel about it--I probably wouldn't be in
Anchorage right now if I hadn't come up here to take this post. And
thus probably wouldn't have done some of the volunteer voice-over work
that really got me thinking about it. So I don't regret having come
here at all--it's just time for me to move on.
