Hi Terry, one way is to put the different colors into their own bags and 
lable them either with braille or Christmas riben by giving each color a 
number, cut a hole into each bag, designate a bag with a number to a color 
and then tie the correct ribbens to the right bags that has the corisponding 
colors and then work with each color like you would do with any project. I 
am not sure how to fix your color question other than giving you ideas to 
store them since I weave and not nit or croshey.
