I am so excited for you and your chance to teach.  Some of us were born to
teach and I truly believe that you are one of those types of people.  I
think that once you are up in front of the students, it will all feel
natural and familiar.  Can't wait to hear your story when it is all over.

Hi all,
Next SATURDAY, I will be teaching a workshop at the Society for Contemporary
Craft, Smallman Street, Pittsburgh, PA.  The workshop students will create
two works out of low fire terra cotta clay. Workshop is called _Painting
With Clay_  but the best part of this is, after the workshop ends, there
will be a round table discussion with a group of Pittsburgh doctors who are
studying how artists creat art when they are blind. Wish me LUCK!  I have
learned that one of MY doctors, a low vision specialist, will be
participating in this event, too.  ( Nervous ) 

I believe I will have students who have sight loss, in this class. I have
never tried to teach art to a blind person before, so I am trying not to be
so nervous about it. But then, I thought about the classes I taught here on
Krafters=Korner via phone, so I guess I can do it. Still, very nervous about
doing it in person - this will be a first for me since I quit teaching 4
years ago.
