I have started to knit a lovely Matinee Swing Jacket - out of Angel Hair yarn from JoAnns. It will be a gift for the very precious woman who has taken me so many times in the past year to and from the art center so I can make pottery. In the meanwhile, she got INTO pottery too, and she is making nice things as well. She chose the yarn for this jacket, and I am knitting it for her as a thank you gift. I love this pattern and have knitted it many times - 

The pattern is available through the Lion Brand site and it is Pattern Number: 60468
It calles for Lion Brand Homespun and it works up wonderful in that.  But, I have made it several times with the JoAnn's Angel Hair and it is magnificent in that yarn. Just be sure to figure out the extra yarn you will need since the Angel Hair has less yardage in the ball than the Homespun.  Also, most people like this pattern better if you add on about 3 more inches to the jacket and the sleeves - The pattern calls for 3/4 length sleeves, and I prefer to make a longer sleeve on it. But any way you make this pattern, it is wonderful.
