Hi All,

I have recently taught myself to knit one form of the Brioche stitch. This
is sometimes called Fishermen's rib, German Rib as well as other names. It
is a slip stitch pattern that can be used with strands of single or multiple
colors. At this time I am only doing single color work. The stitch
produces a very thick plush fabric and is usually done with wool. I've used
both wool and acrylic yarn. Scarves are a great first project in this
stitch. If anyone is interested in learning how to do this stitch. I would
be willing to talk to Joyce about my teaching a class. You would have to
know how to cast on, knit, pearl and bind off.

Your thoughts?

Annette
