I do have a color identifier  piece of equipment, too. But, I usually con my 
husband into lending me his keen eyes. He has been a painter since he was 20 
years old (painter of cars) and he sees colors that I never could see even 
when I could see....so a couple times a day, I call him up to the studio for 
a little look-see.
