Henrietta,

On the loom, you could use two strands of yarn together. that would solve
both issues. But I have not found this easy to do personally.
Or You could do a double eWrap stitch, 1 over 2. you could use the U or flat
stitch. All these will have the stitches tighter and less stretchy for you.

I don't like to make linings for purses either, but it is because I do not
like to sew.

Hi Cathy,
Worsted weight acrilic yarn. I would love to use the smallest loom but that
would be too loose. So I thought about trying circular needles. But I am
still in the thinking stages. I don't want to make a lining for the purse.
What ideas do you have?
