Findings are things like jump rings, and clasps that you use to finish the
project with.

And when something says it is gold filled, or silver filled, normally, the
outside is silver or gold and the filling is in the middle.  So, you have a
less costly item as it isn't solid silver or gold.

I received an ad from firemountain gems today saying they had sterling
silver filled beads and" findings" on sale. what are findings?

Don't ask me what are on the outside of the sterling silver beads, I have no
clue and didn't check. <smile>
