Greetings all,
Sorry that this is not on topic. Please message off the group regarding this
please... But I need to pick your guys brains. My mother only has 10% of her
hearing left. She also has maccular degeneration. She has been reading lips
that I hacve noticed in the last few months. But what I am trying to find
out is there something for the phone that she can read the callers
conversation that does not use high speed internet?
She cannot aford to pay out for much as way as equipment.
I have asked Rehab to help her but they told me no because she is not
working or seaking work.
Does anyone know if Verizon waves the data plan if the person is deaf? 
Because I know they wave the dirictory assistance for the blind.

When we call her we get a high and I do mean high pitch noise due to her
amplafyer is finally breaking down after 25 years. My dad fixed it several
times, but now that he has passed away no one wants to mess with it.
