Cindy, We've  been talking about adding a "crafting" track to our Saturday afternoon conference offerings. We are still in the early stages of planning the sessions. I was planning on asking yarn manufacturers for donations of yarn for the project - just not that far along with it. 
If you're still looking for a home, I bet we could use it. If not for the session, then to supply some of our HPS'ers that knit and crochet for our "craft bank." (The craft bank are donated crafts that we sell at fundraisers or give to doctors as gifts when we need to present them with something special." 
The conference is the Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome Network Conference. You can read more about us at www.hpsnetwork.org - although our conference info for next year isn't up yet.

A friend gave me a garbage bag over-flowing with yarn. While I learned how
to crochet in a recent class here, I am not interested in doing much with it
at this time. There are many very nicely made crochet squares that I would
like to pass along to someone that would do something with them. I am also
passing along bulky and boucle yarn that I do not like to use. These were
free to me and I would like to pass them along for free but I would like a
little help with the shipping since it turned out to be a medium size box
that I am passing along.

Free yarn (all goes to one address) plus shipping (probably $5-7, a medium
size box)

Box contains the following:
Two large crochet squares (approximately 12x12) with three skeins of
matching yarn.

Several finished crochet squares that are nicely made and just waiting to be
combined into a blanket or other item. They are in the following sizes: 25
4x4, 17 3x3, 4 squares in a larger size, and 40 1x1.

Ribbon yarn.

Metallic and green holiday yarn, one skein.
