Hi Portia,
You are in my prayers as I write this to you this morning. this is the first
email that I saw when I turned on the computer. My heart goes out to you
right now - losing a parent is something that no one could ever want to go
through. My mom passed away over 5 years ago, and there is not a day that I
do not think of her. In fact, a pair of her shoes is on a rug just inside
my door and this morning I looked at them and was flooded with her memories.
I wear her shoes all the time, and I always say to myself , "I am walking in
my Mother's shoes." And, it is true, we never stop walking in our mother's
shoes, really. God bless you and give you peace as you walk your mother
home.
