The NFB store, called the Independence Market, sells four sizes of plastic dots on sheets.  The dots have a sticky back and can be applied one by one to lots of different materials for the use of blind folks.  (Call 410-659-9314 and ask for the Independence Market to order by phone or order through the NFB online catalog.) May I suggest you read the Braille Monitor articles of research on the business practices of Maxi Aids before buying from them? The articles are in a number of issues over the years. Maxi Aids sells something called Bump Dots.  They have different sizes and shapes.

Joyce, I was just talking to a tec support person at Humanware who reminded me about something called speed dots.  it is an overlay that you put on your i-phone that puts a dot on each letter of  the qwerty keyboard, the number 5 on the phone keypad and the doc tabs on  the bottom.  They cost about 7 dollars and are sold by the tec  guys.  It is not available for the i-phone 5 yet.  I just wanted  to pass this along in case it might help someone  here.
