[Nfb-krafters-korner] Plastic canvas

I did not say there was anything wrong with starting with the larger canvas. I am just asking her to try the smaller holes before trying the cleanex box. I want my students to succeed not stumble. You need to be able to feal the smaller holes with your finger or with the needle.

There is no reason what size canvas you begin using. Which ever is the easiest to feel and a project that is simple and works up fast is a great beginners project.

Cathy  and Portia;
Try the coaster set on 7 count canvas, before trying any more classes.
You can do it! You need to get the feal for the smaller holes, Cathy.
The cleanex box, diaginal, is not that hard. By the way, I forgot to tell you all, I have a dot patern, too!

In computer  class, thismorning, finally!

Hi  Terry,

A Kleenex box in January or February sounds of interest to me. but I don't know how difficult a project this would be? I'd like to do something fairly simple, but a project that will help me expand the little knowledge I already have. Is the Kleenex box a beginner skill level project? I don't know how complicated stripes would be. however learning how to connect pieces to make a box shape would be interesting. All I can do now is the European stitch in rows. but that is more than I knew how to do this morning! Thanks to Henry!
The more I know, the more I want to know.

Cathy
