Hello fiber friends,
I am so excited this morning! I ordered some of Onix Terevinto's hand dyed
yarns and he made the skeins for me yesterday. This morning he sent me
photos - and I will post one with this note for those who can see photos on
the computer.
Anyway, I wanted to pass this resource on to you if you are looking for some
really fine yarns. He makes them to your specifications and they are VERY
affordable. My skeins are all wool, because that is what I ordered. Each
skein is 888 yards, and they are only $20. each. He will ship both skeins to
me today and only charges $5. and ships them by priority mail.
For those on Face Book, you can find Onix at his page listed as his name, or
you can join up with his special page at "Fiber Minds" if you want to
communicate with other fiber minded people. If you are looking for some
really nice yarns, you can get about anything you may want and it is custom
colored for you by Onix.
I plan to make some scarves in the Double Basket Weave pattern from my
skeins. Right now, I am finishing up the scarves and hats in Steeler
stripes, for the Christmas markets - I did 6 scarves and am working on hats
now. Then, I will be working on some things for myself. Happy knitting...
